VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES

Parent volunteers are essential to the success of the programs and events at Cherry Crest. The PTSA always welcomes and looks forward to having additional volunteers. We have positions and tasks to fit all schedules and interests. Just let us know whether a program, event, or activity interests you and when you might be free to help. WHY VOLUNTEER?
Volunteers serve as the foundation for many of the programs that make Cherry Crest a special  and memorable place for our children to spend their elementary years. Nearly every event and program you can think of that gives Cherry Crest its personality is made possible through the generosity of parent volunteers, including school-wide events like Walk-a-thon and Movie Nights, clubs like Passport club and Math club, and supporting higher teacher to child ratios in the classroom.
DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT!

Not only do volunteer’s hours directly and immediately impact our children’s daily school experience for the better, for those volunteers who work for a corporation that matches donations, the impact of your time contribution can quite literally be doubled.

BACKGROUND CHECK

Before volunteers are allowed to “come to work”, so to speak, all parents and guardians must first register as a verified volunteer with the district.
