All students should bring their Walk-a-thon badges back to school this week. Scan your badge one time during lunch recess this week and be entered to win Otter Pops for your class!
Thanks to a Go! Grant from
AMPED awarded to Cherry Crest Elementary in 2020, this FREE club will be offered every day at lunch recess (except Wednesdays) at the Cherry Crest track until Friday, June 17. This is an optional activity for students who are welcome to run or walk as much or as little as they wish! Students will earn a running charm for completing 5K, 10K and Half Marathon milestones. Certificates will be presented by Principal Steere or Assistant Principal Stedman to students who complete a Marathon (26.2 miles)! Volunteers are needed to setup the self-scanner, help kids as needed and put everything away at the end.
