Giving Month is Starting Soon

Our Envelope Drive has started as Giving Month (October) is approaching. Help us reach our $120K goal by Oct 31st and an already fun school dance turns into a professional DJed dance. PLUS students will learn new dance moves at school and get to perform at the school dance on Friday, Feb 7th.

Library Contest Winners

Congratulations! There were over 80 submissions to the Cherry Crest Library’s Annual Pumpkin Book Character/Book Cover Contest. Students in grades K-5 submitted paper pumpkins drawn with their favorite book and/or book character(s) represented on them using pencil, crayon, pen, water color, oil pastels, collages, etc. We have some creative and artistic Chargers! It was a difficult decision.

5th Grade parents, please join us to celebrate all 5th graders! The event will take place on Wednesday, June 21, 8:30 – 9:45 AM.

Do you know a new family joining Cherry Crest Elementary this fall? All new families are welcome to join Mr. Steere and Mrs. Stedman for an informative night about all things Cherry Crest on Wednesday June 14th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. PedalHeads Summer Camp Registration Open!

Enjoy half day or full day bike camp at one of their 11 WA locations including several throughout Bellevue.

Whether your child is just learning or ready for a challenge, PedalHeads has a camp for them! Programs are available for children age 2 years and older. You can start from the beginning and go all the way to mastering road riding in light traffic. Jump in whatever level matches your child’s skill. Summer camp registration open now!

Registration for LHSC Spring Training Soccer Program is now open!

Registration for LHSC Spring Training Soccer Program is now open!

The program will be led by our dedicated volunteer LHSC coaches. The training/practice sessions will be a clinic-style format, with possible “friendly” games against LHSC opponents.

The spring training soccer program is available for ALL rec and select players. Here are the details:

Spring Training Soccer Program (Age Years 2010 – 2015)

— A five (5) week program with two (2) training/practice sessions per week

— Starts: Week of March 4, 2024

— Ends: Week of April 1, 2024

— Cost: $80 per player, includes LHSC training shirt (scholarship rates are available)
