  • Lunar New Year Celebration is Jan 24 to Feb 7th. We will have a display at school front door, and having activities on the week of Jan 27th. Giving Month STEM Incentives coming home before Thanksgiving break

Thanks again for all your generous donations during Giving Month! All STEM incentives ordered/earned from Giving Month should be delivered to your student in their classroom by Thanksgiving break. Those who have earned blankets via Corp Matching will have delivery toward the end of January.

Congratulations, Cherry Crest Chargers! Thanks to your incredible generosity and participation, we’ve reached our $120,000 Giving Month goal! We hope you had a fantastic time at October’s Carnival and Family STEM Night — we loved seeing everyone come together.

As a celebration for hitting our goal, we’re excited to announce that the School Dance on Friday, February 7th will now be a professional DJ’d dance party!

Picture Day is September 24th

Picture Day is September 24th, where your student will have both individual and class group photos. Online order instructions will be sent home with your child, so please be sure to check their backpacks. If your child misses the September 24th date or you are unhappy with their photo, there will be a make up picture day on November 19th.

Girls on the Run Returning to Cherry Crest!

The Girls on the Run Spring 2024 Season is right around the corner and we have limited spots available on the Cherry Crest team!

Girls on the Run is so much more than running. 3rd through 5th grade participants will have fun, make friends, increase their physical activity levels, and learn important life skills.

Meetings take place at Cherry Crest and will be on Mondays and Thursdays, 2:30-4:00 pm.

Sammamish Summer Basketball Camp

The Sammamish basketball program is hosting a Summer Basketball Camp for 3rd – 8th graders to kick off summer break on June 19-20 from 9 am-12 pm at Sammamish High School (main gym).

The Girls Varsity team and coaches will be running the players through fun drills, competitions, games, and scrimmages over the course of the three days. All levels are welcome. Bring a snack and be ready to play!
