Staff Appreciation Throughout the Year

Each year Cherry Crest families show their appreciation for our outstanding educators by volunteering to provide food, beverages and paper products throughout the school year to stock the staff room as well as encourage teachers and staff with periodic breakfasts. Each Grade is assigned one month to focus their efforts and many items can be delivered by your student.

Cherry Crest Environmental Impact Club taking their learning from classroom to community

These next generation changemakers from our school district were invited to share “Environmental Sustainability Education” with students (grade 2-6), at a local non-profit organization at Bellevue Northwest Art Centre (NWAC), recently. Students from the Environmental Impact Club are building two-way partnerships between the school and the wider community and sharing learnings around environmental stewardship, bringing energy conservation, recycling, composting and pollution prevention ideas with schools and communities.

Kudos to these creators of our future world, for making a positive impact on our environment and making their communities more sustainable.
