Yearbooks will be distributed to students who purchased through the LifeTouch website on June 20th.

Don’t fret for those that were unable to purchase by May 5th, the PTSA has ordered extras that will be available for sale for $30 on GiveButter (https://givebutter.com/cce-yearbook) and will be available MORNING of June 21st in front of school. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE – limit 45. Sales will be happening from 7:40 – 8:15.

Thank you for sending in flowers, cards and desserts last week as we celebrated our wonderful educators all week long! Teachers, specialists and staff enjoyed your thoughtful pampering and are so grateful to be a part of such an amazing community. Thank you for helping us carry on this tradition of gratitude!

Sincere gratitude to the many volunteers who joined us at Walk-a-thon this year! Your time and dedication to Cherry Crest is essential, impactful and greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Together we raised $31,945 which helps PTSA supplement school district funding gaps. With your help PTSA continues to maintain classroom supports vital to the success of our students. Heartfelt thanks to all families, relatives, neighbors and friends that contributed!

On May 9, runners from the Sri Chinmoy Oneness Home Peace Run (https://www.peacerun.org/us/) spoke to students about their mission of spreading peace around the globe, performed their peace song and joined students for laps around the track with the peace torch. Our visitors were thrilled to engage with our diverse and athletic community!

Register your student by this Friday, April 21 to participate in this FREE club.  Students can walk/jog/run laps at lunch recess to earn charms for completing 5K, 10K and Half Marathon milestones. Certificates will be presented by Principal Steere or Assistant Principal Stedman to students who complete a Marathon (26.2 miles)!

Let’s see how adorable our graduating 5th graders were when they were little! Send in your kiddos newborn-toddler baby pictures so we can feature them in the Yearbook.  It will be a fun iSpy game amongst the kiddos.

Cherry Crest PTSA honors up to three outstanding volunteers each year with the Golden Acorn award.  We look for volunteers who have made significant contributions to our community in various roles throughout one or more years.
