Hello Cherry Crest Families! We have a few roster spots available on Bellevue United FC Boys 2012 soccer teams and looking for a few extra players. If your soccer player was born in 2012 and is looking for a team, or if you know someone who is new to the neighborhood and might be interested, contact Nhimy at nhimychung@yahoo.com to join a practice this month. All levels are welcome.

Girl Scout Troop 40333’s “Summer Sitting for K-5 students: will be led by 11th grade students, during the week of August 9th. Troop members have experience leading kids at various day camps, including Girl Scout Summer Camps. This event is a fundraiser for the Girl Scout Troop’s trip to Oahu in 2022.

Interlake High School’s robotics team, Saints Robotics hosts Scratch coding camps for elementary school students.

Join the “Spring into Summer: Great Bellevue Scavenger Hunt” with your friends, family, and neighbors. Fun challenges from Memorial Day weekend until the first official day of summer on June 20. Challenges will vary and include exploring local parks, getting savvy with spring cleaning at home, showing off your neighborhood, saving the planet with eco challenges, sharing old memories of Bellevue, and even completing activities with your pets!

Summer Spanish, French, Mandarin and Japanese online classes are available for K-8. Students watch an academic video, do a teacher guided activity and join a live class with an experienced teacher.

The Bridle Trails Park Foundation will host a 1-week Forest Camp this summer. The camp is led by Washington State Certified Teachers who live in the neighborhood.

Afternoons include age-appropriate hikes in our unique 482-acre urban forest. All campers will learn both how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group as they engage in the magic of exploration and discovery in our amazing park!

The Bellevue High School Volleyball Program, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue, will be hosting the 6th Annual Junior Wolverine Volleyball Camp from August 9-13, 2021. The camp is perfect for beginners who are looking to learn the fundamentals of volleyball as well as more experienced players who would like to refine their skills.

Junior Wolverine Volleyball camp is Session 8: August 9-August 13.

The Vaccine Action Command and Coordination System (VACCS) Center has partnered with Lyft, Uber, United Way Worldwide, Washington 211, and Sea Mar Community Health Centers to provide access to free and discounted rides to vaccine appointments for people with transportation challenges.
