Bellevue Battle of the Books
Thanks to the hard work of our Cherry Crest Librarian Mrs. Lux, six teams of 4
th
and 5
th
grade students competed in the first ever Bellevue Battle of the Books (B.B.O.T.B.). Each team read six
Sasquatch Nominee books
, created questions for each book and then studied for the competition. Of the six teams, F.B.I. (aka Federal Book Investigators) advanced to represent Cherry Crest against Ardmore, Medina and Woodridge elementary schools. Congratulations to Ardmore Elementary for winning the Final! 11 of the 18 elementary schools in the district participated in this pilot year. We’re excited to see this competition continue next year. Thank you BSD Librarians, PTSAs and Administrators for supporting this initiative!
