School Food Share

Seeking Volunteers to help bring boxes of left over school food to Hopelink.  The School Food Share (SFS) program is going to be starting again later this month and we would like a few volunteers to help deliver to Hopelink once a week or be a back up/occasional drivers.

The SFS program collects food that is unopened or uneaten from lunch, such as milk cartons and apples and takes this to the food bank at Hopelink. The time commitment is about an hour round trip from pick up to drop off and then empty boxes back to Cherry Crest for the next day. Food can be picked up between 12:40 and 3pm.

If you would like additional information about the program or have questions about the volunteering opportunity please email schoolfoodshare@cherrycrest-ptsa.org
