The PTSA Communications team has two volunteer openings for the 2022-2023 school year.
First, we are seeking a VP for Communications, who oversees the work of the editor/s who put together the weekly Charger Chatter newsletter, the PTSA website and Facebook page, and the online student directory. Time commitment is approximately 2 hours/week. Technical knowledge is not required.
Second, we seek one or more volunteer newsletter editors to assemble the weekly newsletter from news posts on the Cherry Crest PTSA website. The newsletter editor collaborates closely with the PTSA webmasters, ensuring recent news postings are presented in the newsletter as effectively as possible. Preparing the newsletter takes 1-2 hours on the weekend. The skills needed to produce the newsletter from our WordPress website are easy to pick up, so no prior skillset is required.
